                                     Snow Removal Procedures Notice

The Fox Hollow Board of Directors, in a continued effort to maintain cost and operational efficiency require all owners and residents to review the following snow removal procedures policy so as to prevent any misunderstanding. 
Please remember that snow removal is a major component of the Fox Hollow budget.  Those who are uncooperative will contribute to increased fees.

Failure to follow these procedures
WILL result in the TOWING of your vehicle. 

  • After a snowstorm: 
    • DO NOT MOVE your car to the main roadways until the contractor sounds their horn in your cluster.
       
  • ALL VEHICLES must be removed from the cluster before plowing commences
    • Vehicles must remain clear of the cluster until the snow removal operation for the cluster has been totally completed with plows vacated.
       
  • When the air horn sounds
    • Vehicles in both the main and over flow lots must be moved to the main roadways. 
       
  • Do Not Park within 25 feet of any corners
    • to allow access for Emergency Vehicles and First Responders
       
  • Failure to move your car
    • WILL result in having the vehicle towed from the premises
    • Average cost of towing to the unit owner is approximately $125
       
  • Impeding snow removal operations under the Association’s Rules & Regulations, section B:
    • Subjects the resident to the Association’s fine schedule. 
    • The fine begins at $50 on up to $150 for multiple offenses.
       
  • In the event you cannot move your car:
    • Notify Great North Property Management immediately to avoid towing. 
    • A $50 hand shoveling charge will still apply.
       
  • If you plan to be away:
    • Contact Great North Property Management for a storage area parking assignment. 
    • Long term parking areas are not maintained during the winter.
       
  • Residents are encouraged: 
    • To leave the front porch light on
    • Remove entrance mat to help facilitate snow removal from steps
  • Residents are required to maintain their limited common areas:
    • Front steps
    • Decks
    • Ice Melt (calcium chloride)  NO ROCK SALT (sodium chloride)
      • as it deteriorates concrete
      • and is dangerous to resident pets.
